“Tenacity (n.): The quality of being determined and relentless. ❤️ 🖤 🔥
This past weekend, one of our U17 Girls showed us the true meaning of strength—and earned a Top 20 finish (17th!) at the Southern Region Oireachtas, officially qualifying for the 2026 North American Irish Dance Championships. 🇺🇸✨
This dancer is no stranger to hard work. She has poured herself into her dancing all year—showing up early, staying late, refining the details, and pushing through even when it was tough. And that work paid off: this was her highest Oireachtas placement yet.✨ 👏
But what happened the night before she competed revealed even more about her character: she took a hard fall during practice and sprained her ankle. 😣💔 Many would have backed down. But not her.💪
Instead, she leaned on courage, composure, and tenacity—that rare kind of determination that rises strongest when things don’t go as planned. She stepped onto that stage, delivered three beautiful rounds, and was met with countless compliments on her set round from audience members who had no idea what she had just overcome.🌟 👏 👊
This is what it means to fight for your moment—with grace, grit, and heart.💖 🔥
We are in awe of you. Your tenacity moved us all, and I am so proud of the strength, courage, and heart your brought to that stage. 💫🏅
Congratulations, champion. You’ve earned every bit of this moment.🎉
The journey continues—All Irelands is next, and she’s coming in stronger than ever!”
“🌟 From Setback to Comeback — What a Journey! 🌟
We are beyond proud of one of our U17 Championship girls, who earned a 24th place finish at NAIDC 2025 — after not recalling last year. What a testament to her grit, growth, and sheer determination. ❤️🖤
She didn’t just hope for a better outcome — she made it happen. She reevaluated her approach, dedicated herself to training harder, building her mindset, and becoming stronger inside and out. That kind of transformation doesn’t happen overnight — it takes courage, resilience, and a belief in what’s possible.
The comeback is always greater than the setback.👊
Watching her fight for this goal, day in and day out, was incredibly inspiring — and seeing her take the stage with such confidence and presence had us bursting with pride. 🤩
We’re deeply grateful to @chloeyturner_fitness @fromheadtotoe_academy and Tyler Schwartz for their amazing coaching, guidance, and support in helping her reach this moment. 🙏
And if that wasn’t enough — she also sat for her Grade 12 Irish Dance exams yesterday, the final chapter in her Irish dance exam journey. A week full of milestones. A dancer full of heart.”
“Huge Congratulations to one of our U17
dancers on completing her Grade 12 Exam with an At and being awarded the Dioplóma Scrúdú Rinceoirí from An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha!
This is the highest grade exam in Irish dance and an incredible accomplishment that reflects years of dedication, discipline, and love for Irish Dance.
Earning the diploma is no small feat-it takes a deep understanding of traditional steps, ceili technique, music, and advanced dancing. And to do it all with an A+ is something truly special.
We are SO proud! Her passion and perseverance are an inspiration to everyone at Foley Academy.
Keep shining!”
